Earlier this week, I upgraded my cell phone to the stunning, red LG Shine; it's gorgeous and sleek with lots of neat features.  When I got it, I didn't think I needed to test it at the AT & T Store...Silly me.  When I got home and tried to make a call, I was assaulted with an error message:  That option is unavailable.  WTF!?!?!?  I turned the phone off and tried again got the same error.  I could not play with my new toy for 24 hours!!!

I brought the phone to work in a brown bag.  On my way out the guy who takes out the trash told me to, "Put my trash here," pointing to  his garbage can on wheels.  I laughed and said, "It's not garbage."  But it wasn't a full-fledged phone either.  Back to the AT & T store, where I told them I could not make calls.  Turns out the girl who set up my new phone for got to activate the SIM Card.  I asked for compensation, seeing as how the phone did not work properly.  What did I get nada, not even an apology.  At least the salesperson knew how to activate the SIM Card.  I made him call my phone to be sure it was working...

It has crystal clear reception.  Yup, my number is still the same!  I got first call before I could figure out how to answer.  I need to slide the phone open and press the answer button.  I'm still getting the hang of it!
