The owner of the building next door we share a courtyard with, had a glaringly-bright light installed; see the photo below, taken from my bathroom. One of the tenants hosts summer dinner parties, so perhaps they requested it...In true keeping up with the Jonses fashion, my landlady installed a lightbulb above our door, the day after the neighbors installed theirs. This after not changing the bulb since 2006!
Nothing like a little drama to keep things interesting...
