The State of Things

As I sit here in my office paying my taxes, I can't help noticing that I'm in a bad way...I can't pay the IRS what I owe in full, a fact that devastates me no end, especially because I am extremely frugal, but the majority of my clients have cut back on the amount of work they're giving me, which leaves me frantically scrambling for more...I'm fortunate that I get selected for focus groups--tax free income!

For a couple of months, in 2015, June through October and again in December, I was cash rich, not using my credit cards at all and making a good dent in what I owe. Lately, it seems we're in the midst of another recession, as if the first one really ever ended...

Fingers crossed things get better soon!
