My Brita Pitcher isn't Cutting it

I've been using Brita Pitchers for over a decade, but I'm sad to say, the water in Brooklyn is so murky from the tap it resembles dingy milk...My Brita Pitcher really works overtime, as is evident by the black flecks at the top of the pitcher. It's recommended that I chance the filter every two months; I wind up switching it out every month-and-a-half.

When my Brita filters run out, I'm going switch to a ZeroWater Pitcher; it's gotten rave reviews. Is anyone using it? If so, would love to know what you think!
