Customer Service gets Social

When my cable modem goes on the fritz--it happens more often than I'd like--I contact Time Warner Cable thru Twitter to request a credit for the outage. Early this month the RCA modem I had went kaput. A tech came to my apartment to replace that modem with a much faster, sleeker model, an Arris! I had to endure so many repeated outages, Time Warner Cable gave me a $30.80 credit. They told me about it via a public Tweet rather than by DM because it's good press for them. Hey, I can't complain!
