Broken Cable Box Before Breaking Bad...

I don't watch TV every night, but when I do, I just want to unwind without any hassles...So, last night I was watching TV before the return of Breaking Bad when I started losing channels; first the Food Network, then Cooking, Channel, Bio, and AMC. Annoyed, I rebooted my Time Warner cable box, a process that takes a good 15 minutes. When it finished, I got a cryptic message: This box is not authorized for service. Call Time Warner Cable. Really pissed that my cable box was FUBAR 2 hours before the season premiere of Breaking Bad, I called. The tech sent a signal to reboot the cable box remotely. That worked, but a minute later, while still on the phone, I lost the picture again. At this point, I'm seething!! The Tech talked me down by offering to stay on the phone with me while the cable box while it booted a third time, for a total of 45 minutes of downtime...Third time's a charm. It worked and I got to watch Breaking Bad--crisis averted!

Breaking Bad isn't just a show; it's a way of life! :P
