Down to the Bone

So in January '11 I made slightly less that I did in January '10.  Uh, I though the economy was improving?  You could fool me!

I'm getting steady work from my Web Clients, but it's not enough to keep me financially comfortable.  I find myself cutting back on simple things: I used to go to the movies at least three times a month; I haven't been to a movie since late January...I hardly ever go out with friends anymore; I'm not being anti-social--I simply can't afford it!

The next I go grocery shopping, I won't be able to afford pasta sauce, beer or iced tea.  I am seriously toying with the idea of skipping lunch a couple of times a week--it's just too expensive.  Things are so bad that they had 2 for one cereal and tissues at the drug store yesterday; I stocked up on tissues.

I know I'm not alone.  What have you cut back on??
