Cherry Blossom Festival at Brooklyn Botanic Garden

I finally made it to the Cherry Blossom Festival at Brooklyn Botanic Garden. I walked from my apartment, so I saved on subway fare! The place was mobbed--there was a 30-minute wait to use the bathroom, but the garden and cherry blossoms were beautiful and relaxing to look at. There were several Japanese-related performances throughout the day, so I got my culture on! The food and drinks were overpriced, as they often are at these events: $5.00 for a lemonade and $8.00 for the smallest sushi roll I've ever seen!
