Being Pressured to Buy More
When I go shopping at the corner deli in my Brooklyn neighborhood where I've been a loyal customer for 11 years, I kind of rest it when the clerk says, "Is that all?" when I only pick up a few things. I know the query is supposed to get me to spend more, but here are times when I spend $40.00 there on groceries...
