I wrote “Damp Wind and Leaves” in college for a Fiction Writing Workshop.  Inspired by my favorite holiday, Halloween, which is pivotal to the story, as is young love. I met my first true love, Keith at Ithaca College. We didn’t last, but the tender moments we shared inspired me to reflect on our relationship.
