The Perils of Upgrading...

  • Jan. 15th, 2008 at 7:42 PM

Ah, yes, the fun never ends...I called Adobe to upgrade my Photoshop License to the latest version, Photoshop CS3, that I've been using for a couple of months now--there are a lot of handy shortcuts!    It turns out that Photoshop CS isn't compatible with Leopard, so I had to trash it.  Ugh...

I called Adobe to upgrade on January 7th and spent over 40 minutes on the phone with them upgrading my acct. information and placing my order; over a week later, I still had not received my software, so I decided to give my good friends a call today during my lunch break.  I told them I wanted to inquire about my order since I never got the software...The Sales Rep. investigated and told me the software never shipped because there was a billing issue.

"What kind of billing issue?"  I asked.  She wasn't sure.  I expressed my dissatisfaction--they should have called me last week to make me aware of the problem, so I could help them correct it.  I placed a new order and the Sales Rep. said she would call if there was a problem.  Here's hoping I don't get a call from Adobe tomorrow; I'd much rather have my copy of Photoshop CS3 sometime this week or early next.  I paid extra to have them expedite it.  Wish me luck!
I'm behind on several projects--this does not make me happy...
